Missing hikers in Menifee County found after overnight search Updated: Mon 1:35 AM, Aug 03, 2015 MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Lawrence County emergency management crewmembers told WKYT two hikers who became lost in Menifee County have been found. Dispatcher said the two hikers, a man and a woman, began hiking around noon Sunday and became lost not long after. They finally called search and rescue around 10 p.m. Sunday night. Search and rescue members called WKYT from the scene, saying the hikers haven't had any water the entire time they've been on the trails. However, they don't believe the couple is injured in any way. Rescuers said rain has washed out many path ways and that is impeding their search, but they do have the coordinates for the missing couple's location. Menifee, Powell, Bath, and Lawrence Counties worked together to help find the hikers, who were found around 1:30 a.m. Monday. www.wkyt.com/home/headlines/Crews-from-multiple-counties-search-for-hikers-in-Menifee-County-320450832.html
